About Climate Ambassador

The Climate Ambassador programme is Ireland’s first ever initiative to train and support individuals taking action on climate change. The programme is co-ordinated by the Environmental Education Unit of An Taisce with support from the Department of Communication, Climate Action and Environment.

Find out more

Applying to become a Climate Ambassador only takes 10 minutes. Successful applicants will receive free training in communications and climate science as well as a toolkit to help you develop your actions. Our Climate Action Officers will support you every step of the way and you’ll also be invited to regional network gatherings to meet up with your fellow Climate Ambassadors and share your ideas, skills and knowledge.
